Ninh Binh The View Point Home & Spa

We stayed 5 nights at The View Point Home & Spa and had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable, well equipped and quiet. The welcome and support whilst we were here was great with lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do as well as arranging a scooter for us, dinner on the day we arrived and laundry. Breakfast at the hotel is really good as well. Try the Beef Pho! Location is great being a short bike ride to both the Trang An boat tour and Mua Cave and lookout. There's some really lovely little family run restaurants tucked away in the back streets on the area around the hotel that I wholly recommend trying as well. Overall we had a great stay and would 100% come back and stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay. Family hotel run by the owner. He receives you and tell you what you can do in the area. The location is perfect, quiet area super close to the principal attractions, you can go by walk or using the free bikes of the hotel. Also, we had the chance to do early check in.

Good location for both the Trang An boat ride and the Mua Cave. The rooms are nice with everything you would expect. The beds are comfortable. We asked for an extra pillow which was accommodated with ease. The shower is hot and the bathroom is spacious. Bikes are provided free of charge but we opted to hire a scooter so we could explore the wider area. Scooter hire and laundry are available at a local rate without the usual tourist inflation you’d expect. The owner is really lovely. She speaks excellent English and provided us with many local tips. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Side note: This area is particularly good for pomelos in January so try and grab one from a local stall. They are much sweeter and mellower than elsewhere.

Jake and his wife are super friendly hosts. They made everything possible: motorbike, massage, really good coffee and food. We pretty much enjoyed our stay here. Also the location is perfect to visit the sights around via motorbike or bicycle, which are available for free. Thanks 🙏🏼

We had a lovely stay at the View Point. Jake is an exceptional host, he gave us details and plenty of tips of what to see and do in the local area, as well as helping book our onward journey. The hotel is a great location, quiet and peaceful, while being close enough to cycle to Ninh Bình Downtown, Trang An Boat Tour and Mua Viewpoint. Room was super clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Our stay at The View Point was fantastic as soon as we walked in the door. The owner greeted us in the reception/cafe and was exceptionally polite and spoke very good English (not a must, but very helpful for us). He sat us down in the cafe and gave us a rundown of the attractions/activities in the area and local tips of where to go, what times, and costs. He also facilitated the hiring of scooters, organised a masseuse, and booked a bus ride to Ha Giang at the conclusion of our stay. The bicycles were also free to borrow. The facilities were very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfy. I highly recommend checking this place out; it's about 10-mins out of the city centre and not full of touristy-types.

Everything about this place is perfect! Hosts Jake and Elsa were amazing! Very caring and friendly and made me feel absolutely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful too! Jake gave many tips on the places and attractions I wanted to visit, including the expected prices, routes, best time of the day to visit etc. This helped me greatly in making plans on how to spend my time around there, including arranging for me a bike to get around. Of the many homes I have stayed with in the past years, this is definitely one of the top!
