D-Rima Homestay Ruteng

We really loved our stay at Richardo’s house! He and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming — we truly felt at home. Richardo even took us on a car tour to explore the area, and we had the chance to meet some wonderful families in the countryside and share a meal with them. It was an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you so much, Richardo, for giving us the opportunity to live such a special moment!

Great location, close to the centre everything was within walking distance. Very friendly and welcoming neighbourhood. Simple but tasty breakfast! The host was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, really easy and enjoyable to speak with; he gave us lots of advice and information around transportation, guides, local customs and Flores in general. Highly recommended.

Nice Homestay that makes you feel as part of the family. Lovely family and appreciated the support to book my onward journey. They offer scooter rental (150k) and lunch/dinner which was nice as it was raining.

Booked a full day scooter ride with the hotel owner’s son, but then later the owner threatened to leave me at the remote road because I wanted to adjust my itinerary.

Thanks for being open and receiving guests even on Easter 🥹 the house is beautifully decorated, I had the best hot shower in Flores there! The owner is very nice and welcoming ☺️ and cooks delicious breakfasts! Wish I could stay longer.

Host Ricardo was very helpfull. He guided me around Ruteng and also to Wae Rebo. He's a master at entertaining the kids in the villages. The food in the homestay is very tastefull.
