- Definitely: the vintage decoration of the four larger bedrooms and communal space, which was simple but sophisticated. - The shared bathroom on the 2nd floor was very clean. - Very quiet place. - No meals provided but hot/cold water, kitchen stove and refrigerator available.

- No human being to receive guests or to provide any information. - Several leaflets available for guests, but all in Chinese. - The single room, that I occupied, was cramped and stuffy, with a small window only opening onto a skylight. Despite the screen, the many mosquitoes in the room seemed not to be bothered by the repellent. - The filter of the water jug in the kitchen had expired.

Really nice place very modern and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful!

Wonderful landlady who makes you feel at home! She is so welcoming, helpful and even took a lot of here free time to show me around the city! It is very clean, has big rooms, good A/C, many outlets, also next to the bed, and there is a common kitchen with freezer and refrigerator. Hot, warm and filtered cold water available for free. Towels, shower gel + shampoo, toothbrush and hairdryer in the rooms. And: it is in a great neighborhood: right in the famous, picturesque and cosy snail alley, which is also located right in the center of Tainan with lots of sights in close walking distance. The rooms are quiet. Extremely good cost/performance ratio. Hope to come back one day!

Great location at a great price. The owner was very welcoming and the facilities were good overall. The bed was not really comfortable, that's the only negative point for this place... otherwise 10/10

The bed killed me after 2 nights

The place is quite big, a shared kitchen and living room are a nice bonus! Everything was clean, the host was beyond friendly and gave recommendations for what to visit. The bed was very comfortable and big. The night was very quiet, no road noise whatsoever.
