Clean rooms and a quiet location - a mid point between Srinagar and Gulmarg (around a 30 min drive to Gulmarg). Ather was easy to communicate with and helped us with our questions, along with organising taxis to Gulmarg & the airport. Ather and his family provided hot water bottles during the evening as we stayed in winter. Rooms with fireplace are good for the colder months.

Rooms with gas heater remain quite cold during the winter, and heating is unable to be left on overnight. Please note there is no central heating and the place is very cold in the winter mornings. Electricity in the area fluctuates regularly and may not be consistent.

The stay was comfortable and the hosts were welcoming. We had a great time sitting out in the garden as well..

The homestay was really cozy, host ather went over and above to help us out whenever needed. The kitchen was such a life saver. It was stocked with utilities as well. One has option to order food and there are enough option from vegetarian, non-vegetarian to Kashmiri wazwan around the property.
