Loved everything about this stay! Short walk to the beach! Huge private room, with a fan and en-suite. Lovely balcony area to sit and a washing line to dry clothes after the beach! Down a very safe lane

Nothing, love this accomadation

I had upper corner room, was great privacy, very comfortable, they cleaned the room, wifi was great, and even small kitchen available, highly recommended. It is very close to the beach and all stores in the town. Family is very nice and helpful.

The land lady was lovely, so thoughtful and kind. When it began to rain, I went out to get our washing in however she was already getting it in. She also showed us an undercover area to use. We wanted to dry out a wet phone and asked for some rice to help and she kindly gave us some without allowing us to give her money for it. The room was clean and the hot water shower was nice.

It was a comfortable little room with a nice covered patio. There are screens on the windows, rather rare in Sri Lanka.

To get to and from the property you must pass a nasty, foul-smelling sewage pit of a creek that is just outside the gate. Fortunately the smell doesn’t get into the compound. The mosquitoes are on that nice patio all day, not just in the evening, so we hung out in the room with the fan on.

My recent stay at Our World was an incredibly comfortable experience, especially for the price. The cozy atmosphere of the property truly makes it feel like a home away from home. This homestay is also literally at a 2 mins walk to the Mirissa Beach. Inoka, the owner, is absolutely wonderful—very sweet and welcoming. Her warm hospitality added a personal touch to the stay. The homestay has a small kitchen that guests can use to prepare small meals or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, which is very convenient. The property also features a lovely garden that enhances the charm of the place, and the ample sunlight streaming in makes it feel vibrant and refreshing. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for a peaceful and budget-friendly stay in Mirissa. Highly recommended!

There was nothing to not like about this property.

The host family is very kind and hospitable. The room was enough spacious and very quiet which is ideal for a sound sleep. The beach is very close, just less than a 2-minute walk away. They also have a cafe on the beach where you can enjoy delicious food with stunning beach views.

Very good location in center of everything and also very close to the beach. Nice, green place, room was with hot water. Special thanks to the owners, they supported me in everything I needed. Also possible to rent bike here at very good price. Would consider to come here again

This is my second time staying with Inoka. Everyone always comes back. She is very kind and attentive. You can stay upstairs with a balcony or downstairs with a patio. The downstairs rooms have hot water heaters. There are two routers so WiFi is good. If you have an issue just ask Inoka! Everyone has access to a small kitchen with the essentials, including fridge, kettle and two burners. You can’t be better positioned in Mirissa — right across from Parrot Rock, a bus stop, atm, roti shop, walking distance to Turtle Bay, and lots of cafes and restaurants. But you’re tucked away on a quiet side street where it’s peaceful. The bedding and towels smell super good from the softener! If you need laundry done as well, they have a lady who does it! I personally recommend omitting your white clothing from the load to avoid the risk of color bleeding in the load. They also run a veg curry buffet across the street right on the beach under the same name for 1000k ¨̮
