Our World Mirissa

I really enjoyed the location! Just 5 minutes to the ocean and restaurants where you can pay by card:)The owner was superb cute woman

The hosts were very helpful, they provide me with all the Information and even I had a trouble to find the place since it was dark, they picked me up. The whole house is a traditional homestay with a number of dogs, which were barking at some point, I don't know why, so be prepared that you will not find something luxurious or western style accommodation.

Unfortunately, no hot water was available. No AC, only fans, and I didn't find it very clean, especially the sheets. My biggest issue was, however, that there was only one plug far away from the bed, and it wasn't convenient to charge my camera, my phone, and all my equipment. The water was cut one day after 12 o'clock in the night. I saw a dead scorpion in the outdoor area downstairs and a snake outside of the accommodation close to the river since the road leading to the hotel is a gravel road. I have to say that when I came to the place I was already suffering stomach sickness and pain and for me it wasn't the ideal place to stay, I needed hot water, very clean sheets and a more western type of a accommodation.

The host was very nice, she gave us an umbrella as it was rainkng heavily and after check out she stores our bags for us for a few hours

The property is very close to the beach and easily accessible to the other main attractions. The room is very spacious and the kitchen is well stocked. The staff were incredibly helpful!!! We had issues with our Tuktuk when checking out as it wouldn’t start and the host called us a repair man to fix it. We were also allowed to stay in our room past check out whilst we waited for it to be fixed! Couldn’t recommend a more lovely property!

Great host, very nice cozy yard and a comfortable room with a good fan that keeps you cool. The beach is very close, and the hotel is in a quiet place. Perfect for a good rest. The kitchen was a gem - the whole time in Mirissa we have been buying a bunch of sea food in Cargill’s for cheap and cooking awesome dinners

location is awesome, just across the beautiful beach, lots of restaurants around, close to everything, bus station, supermarkets. the room is great, spacious, bathroom also. we had a big shared balcony and also a shared kitchen available. house owners and nice and friendly.

- so close to the ocean! - clean - nice own space in front of the room with table and chair! - no traffic noises; almost as if you are in nature - no smell caused by the river - cute owner trying to help as much as possible - the room feels like an own little cottage - in a few minutes at the beach and the parrot rock - in a few minutes at most various food places! No scooter/tuktuk necessary

- first impression isn’t that cool, because it is on a really small bumpy road located - BUT it’s great!
