Our World Mirissa

The location is great! Close to the Main Street but “hidden” enough to don’t have the noise of people and cars at night. If you just need a place to sleep in Mirissa, this is the one. Good facilities for the price

Happy I found this place, steps from the beach, green surrounding,all you need in one place. The room is spacious , bathroom too, big front terrace , kitchen and a tranquil atmosphere. The room has big bed , good window for airing and free towel and toilet paper. I like the fact that there is a kitchen with stove, fridge , kettle and plenty dishes to use. Just steps from the beach, I can even see from terrace the sunset lights and hear the waves, that close. The garden is well kept, green and clean. They also have a coffee right in the beach with buffet and fresh coconut from where I watched the sunset . I will be back for sure !

Really well located, close to Mirissa beach with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Lovely family run homestay, the family take care to make it as pleasant as possible for you. Great lower cost option for backpackers and those on a budget. Hot shower!!

Through no fault of the family, close to a swamp, however you don’t notice it so much once through the homestay gates

Central location, the beach is just across the street. Rooms are very clean, and the bedsheets smell of a very good softener. The house is great, we extended the stay for longer. It's perfect for long stays as well. There was electric gezer. The lady was every day firing those anti mosquito spirals on the balcony for us! There is a small shared kitchen which was in good condition and well equipped. Close to many restaurants, supermarkets and everything we needed. So far the best stay in Sri Lanka

Location is very good and family who runs the place are super helpful. I needed helmet for motorbike trip and they borrowed me one.

Our World Mirissa is the best place where you can stay in Mirissa. The lady for the house was so nice with us. She give us a motorbike for 1 week! You have here a nice terrase, a good place where you can coock. Amazing place! We come back next year! 🙏

- good value for the money - the family was super nice and kind - we had a separate cabana with an outdoor area - space to hang our wet clothes - every evening there was a mosquito repellent smoking outside our door - there was kitchen available with kettle and fridge - the water was not super cold nor super hot. I’d say I washed my long hair not as uncomfortably as in the other places but it was still not comfortable (if you know you know😅)

- every morning there was a looooot of noise from the birds around. And I mean a lot, it was difficult to get some sleep past 4am - the room wasn’t super clean, there was sand on the floor and on the little carpets from the beggining - I wasn’t sure about the cleaning of the bathroom so I wiped everything with antibacterial wipes before we used it. - the mosquito nets were not long enough to cover the bed till the floor, we had to work around it, but anyways we were both bitten quite a lot It is a budget stay and really if not the noise I would recommend it more. But again… super cheap. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The garden and the quietness even though it‘s so central.
