A wonderful hotel with incredibly hospitable hosts. The rooms are beautiful, blending heritage charm with impeccable cleanliness. The highlight is the rooftop with stunning views and a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food. An unforgettable stay in Jodhpur! Highly recommend.

The rooms were well decorated. Its location is good for visiting the market.

When I arrived I was told my booking had been cancelled and ‘someone from the airport had called to say I would not arrive’. I had arrived by train and only booked this after I arrived in India. The breakfasts were inconsistent and very basic. I ordered the omelette on two days - one had vegetables, the other was plain and over salted. There was no hot water. The shower also did not work properly so had to be held in position to work. There were frequent brief power cuts at night and in the mornings. Causing the AC to reset (which was quite loud)

We spent 11 days at Juna Mahal, a charming and historic residence tucked away in the bustling heart of Jodhpur's bazaar. Our spacious, clean, and cozy room had a small balcony and access to a terrace with beautiful rooftop views, where we often spotted groups of monkeys. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is peaceful, hidden away in a small alley. Breakfast was good, and the kind chef prepared delicious Indian vegetarian dishes, even late in the evening. Room service worked perfectly, and the young staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The owners and team spoke good English and offered great assistance.

Exploring the surrounding bazaar on foot was very challenging due to heavy traffic, constant honking, petrol fumes, and stray dogs. We mainly experienced the area from tuk-tuks when arriving or leaving the hotel.

Beautiful building, lively decorations and great view from the roof restaurant. I stayed when it had just opened and was so happy to be back. Very handy for everything too. Really well looked after by the family and staff- lovely people.

Beautiful building and a cute room. Staff was helpful and kind. We needed to leave before breakfast to catch a train, but the staff made us a breakfast sandwich for take away. The room was located facing the indoor patio, which made it super peaceful for sleeping. AC and shower worked very well. The hotel has a nice rooftop were you can enjoy great food and drinks.

The hotel is located in a narrow street next to the small shopping street, which can make it difficult to find the exact location (if you become easily overwhelmed with the busy passage). It will be more convenient for the taxi driver to drop you off a little bit earlier, so you can walk towards the hotel or take the tuctuc. The hotel made direction indication signs, so look for these hanging up. There is a small fence in the beginning of the narrow street, which you can open manually and sweet dogs are laying in front of the hotel entrance. Do not be afraid, as they are really calm and most of the time just sleeping.

Very welcoming hosts. Couldn't do enough for us. Incredible roof terrace (make sure you explore the highest one). The room was beautiful and clean. The location was great for getting a real feel of Jodhpur!

E x c e p t i o n a l!! The best place we stayed on our entire trip. Amazing host, the room was not only spotless but has a stunning historical decoration. On the rooftop is a restaurant with really good food and a view that makes you breathless. And squirrels!!!! My personal favorite 😅😍 Please book. We would have loved to stay longer. Absolutely recommended
