Juna Mahal Boutique Home Stay

The owner was kind-hearted and friendly. The room had magnificent traditional furniture.

The door was not very handy to close but it was an old beautiful door

The room was clean

Breakfast very poor. Curious to know who said breakfast was good and what he got. One pancake,one tea: finish.

Truly stunning building, exceptional staff, right in the heart of the bustling old town. Big shoutout to the young porter that was really great.

It’s not a dislike, but be aware that in december it can be quite chilly. The hotel provides enough blankets to help for that.

Juna Mahal was absolutely gorgeous inside - to this day, one of my favorite buildings in Jodhpur architecturally. The staff were INCREDIBLY nice and friendly. There's no elevator, but they carried all our suitcases up. The rooms are just as pictured if not more beautiful. Everything was extremely - almost excessively - clean and taken care of. We had absolutely lovely breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view. Everything was very cheap and quite yummy. I have very warm memories of this hotel.

The bathrooms are... EH. Out shower was barely lukewarm (not an issue as the outside is quite warm) and had very little pressure, and on the whole the bathrooms were probably the weakest part of this homestay. This homestay, similarly to all other hotels in the Old City, doesn't have car access. Keep in mind you'll need to call a tuk-tuk to get there. It's only a short 10-minute ride away from the main tourist-oriented shop district, but keep in mind you won't want to be walking there. The homestay is definitely located in a more "local" part of town - which I personally didn't mind.

It was very nice experience, the cleanliness at juna mahal is upto the mark. I stayed in one bed room which was cozy and outside view from the room was awesome .One can easily view the grandeur of mehrangarh fort from the roof top of juna mahal.Food served was also tasty and nice.

I found one lizard 🦎 which I was not expecting in the restaurant of juna mahal.

View is awesome. Room is decorated. But old stairs could be difficult for elder persons.

No lift. Staircase is too stiff slope.

We stayed two nights at Juna Mahal in Jodhpur. Our hotel manager, Jimmy, took care of everything: he carried our bags upstairs and brought water to our room. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant serving delicious Indian food, and you can even order Indian wine. A transfer to the airport was also organized for us. The hotel and our room were both beautiful and clean, and the area is very quiet in the evening. We can definitely recommend this place!
