NLVery serene place, overlooking the water. I could watch the sunrise from my bedroom and see the fishermen start their day. Beautiful and peaceful, so you can easily spend some days here to unwind. The breakfast, lunch and dinners are exceptional and all home cooked by the attentive staff. Recommended!
Not a bad thing, but good to know: To go to Aleppy, it's only 20minutes by tuktuk or you can take the bus.

PTIncredible view, our room had windows and balcony facing the lake. Sunrises were beautiful. Very quiet and serene, tropical birds. Mr Shafi and his team took excellent care of us. He was very helpful with anything we needed, including with tours, transportation, meals, cleaning… The room was big and clean, with AC and fan (which was crucial because the climate is the hottest we’ve experienced in India). It’s located in a very cute area surrounded by canals, temples, jungle, and village houses with friendly and curious locals. No foreigners in sight around. A quiet and peaceful place for an excellent price.
Not that it was a negative necessarily, but keep in mind that the property is 30 mins from the beach and tuktuks in this area are not cheap (compared to other places in India), also restaurants are far away. The mattress is very firm, which could be a bit uncomfortable if you’re not used to it.
AUThis is such a beautiful and unique place to stay! Wake up to see the sun rising over the backwaters. The owner and staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. I came with 6 of my Yoga students as part of a tour of Kerala and everyone loved it here. They also cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was so delicious! You could taste the love in the food. The owner Shanavas helped me book a houseboat months in advance which turned out great! I highly recommend this quiet and tranquil place!

Despite several requests to organize it in advance, we were not able to reach their local contact for boat tour ….
FRWe loved the delicious local food available for all 3 meals, the home stay hospitality, the beautiful green and peaceful garden with lake view. We felt very comfortable and at home during this stay. We also had our boat trip on Allepey back water arranged by our host.
Nothing, but you need to plan a travel time up to 3 hours from Kochi Airport due to traffic. Of course, mosquitoes are also part of the stay due to the lake location.
