Vancouver Homestay Inn

We were lucky to get the reservation as it was the Taylor Swift concert weekend. The price was fair for what we had. The host was nice enough. He gave a long list of restaurant options.

The communication was a challenge. It was bizarre that we did not get the key to our room, however were expected to share open spaces with other random guests. He made me give him $50 U.S. via the app and then when I returned the key at check out (as that was the only was I got to have a key was giving a deposit) and then gave me $50 Cani The bathroom facilities and decor were all very dated from the early 90s.

I would recommend the upper level rooms, not the basement one!

Good value for money. Upon arrival I got a free room upgrade and had my own bathroom. The place was heated to my comfort and mostly clean. It is not too far from the center of Richmond and good value for the money. The house was quiet.

Safety and tranquility are my top priorities, and this place has met my expectations. The couple are very amiable, respectful, and friendly. The location is convenient, making it easy to come and go. The beds are clean and tidy. Having a refrigerator is essential, especially while traveling, as it allows us to store leftover food. The owner deserves praise for making this arrangement available.

I don't have any negative feedback at this time. Continuous improvement is always good to have on the list for upkeeping the facility.

Stayed 3 full days. Arthur is a very caring host. Always ready to help you. Exceptional food everyday. Very quiet neighborhood. Yet also close to shopping and the Skytrain. Amazing Gem for a place to recuperate. Or for having someone stay for a few days visiting. We will be recommending Arthur's Homestay Inn to all our friends. Cheers... Dr Wraye

No independent washroom

The bathroom facilities worked well. The lounge with coffee and tea was very useful. I made tea daily. The room was quiet with plenty of closet and desk and table space. Everything was clean! Security was good.

Due to road construction, the nearby bus stop was closed. So I walked a km to and from the bus stop. That was unfortunate but a temporary inconvenience. Next time I book here, I will request the room with a garden view and confirm that with Arthur before arrival.
