Casa Grande

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Casa Grande. El Centro is the most exciting, vibrant and genuine area to stay in Medellin. The people who run this guesthouse are so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel part of the family. It's also welcome that it's quiet and peaceful once you are inside the guesthouse.

Honestly I liked everything.

Nice, clean and in a more authentic area with local amenities, which we tend to like. Everything works smoothly.

The room we had faced a very small courtyard. Therefore there is little fresh air coming into the room. It was very warm. But there is a fan.

The location was great, I really enjoyed the area the hostel was in, and the staff was so friendly and nice, they really do help travelers around!

We were alone at the time, but it felt that the bathroom was really small for the amount of rooms there were in the one floor we were staying in. We perhaps also noticed the place wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom, but in any case it was decent enough.

It was a pretty good room for that price. The  staff was really pleasant, helpful and patient despite the fact that we didn't speak Spanish, so we used a translator to communicate with each other.

Family is welcoming

The water pressure in the shower in our was so weak. Like really weak, it just drips on the wall. It takes so much of our time just to get a shower, it's hard to get the right temperature too

It was a super nice old-style hotel located near to the city center. The property owner is a very nice lady and can help you if you have any questions.

You can hear neighbours if they talk near to your door. It would be nice to add a couple of cups to the room.
