Nice place, friendly owner and many economics restaurants around. The localisation is very central, which means that it is close to the metro and point of interests of Medellín.

The localisation is very central but a bit sketchy. If you go out during the day it is fine, but when the sun goes out it is not the best, I would recommend taking a cab and not walking around.

Helpful owner when my flight was cancelled and has to reduce date of accommodation.

Found some dirty point in pillow, hot water is not stable (5 mins hot and then 5 mins cold constantly alternate) have to wait.

The location is good. It’s at walking distance to the metro and tram station, so getting around the city is easy. It’s also on a quiet and safe residential street. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They accommodated early check in and allowed to store our luggage after check-out.

I do appreciate that this is a home stay and the hosts are trying to make us feel comfortable. But we shouldn’t also forget that this is a commercial enterprise and they are providing accommodation services. From that respect facilities need improvement. The water temperature was impossible to get right, I wasn’t able to shower for two days because I just couldn’t get the temperature right. The bedding was antique which added to a personal, family-like atmosphere. But it had yellow, old-cloth stains that happens when fabric remains in chest / cabinet for too long. I know it’s not unhygienic but it’s still not very nice aesthetically. The door was quite old as well, and had a gap on top. It didn’t lock very well and didn’t felt safe, and the gap on the top meant that sound travelled quite easily from the corridor and hallway.

The people were very kind and the place was clean.

It is a room with shared space with the local family, of which there was no prior information. They had a family get together while we were there and talked loudly and smoked late into the night right outside our room. What is visible on their advertisement is not representative of what you get. Not worth the price.
