Silent Bungalow

The staff were amazing and welcomed us with tea and snacks as well as arranged a private safari trip with their very knowledgeable sons. The room was very big and we also had a private terrace. The food was very good and can definitely recommend having breakfast and dinner here

Unfortunately, there were quite a lot of ants in the room but this comes with it being in nature. Also, the shower was not very good as it was mainly just a mist

Very friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Dinner was amazing and so tasty! Would highly recommend staying and eating at the Silent Bungalow. Hosts also provided a super safari experience and helped us with our onward travel.

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Excellent value with incredible staff, Sudath and his family/team made us feel so welcome. We had tea and snacks on arrival and home cooked Sri Lankan food for dinner and breakfast which was delicious. We messaged beforehand and he arranged a safari tour with his son which was incredible. He also arranged a last minute taxi for our onwards travels which we were grateful for.

Tour to Game Park was excellent. Breakfast and dinner was above expectation. The service from the staff was first class and lacked for nothing.

NOTHING-Everything was excellent

We had a great stay here and our hosts were excellent at making our stay as comfy as possible. The location is quiet and the garden has a “jungle” feel” . Our room had two large beds and a drying rack, mirror, and case rack. There were two good fans in the room and the large bathroom had a warm shower, although during the day there are regular power cuts so be prepared for a cold shower now and again! Everywhere was very clean and the mosquito nets were good to have as a back up to our mozzy spray. Our hosts Sudath and his wife Kanei made us very welcome and we enjoyed a laugh with them whenever we saw them. Sudath has sons who drive to the safari or the Elephant Orphanage or even on long journeys so they can arrange whatever type of trip you like at a fair price. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast and dinner was both very plentiful and delicious! The Elephant Orphanage is a joy to visit and just a few minutes away from the Bungalow, and on our safari Vishal (or was it Ayush?!) was excellent at spotting the birds and wildlife and made sure we did see elephants even though it seemed they just wanted to hide away for the first few hours. We found it a great experience to stay at Silent Bungalow to a big thank you to all the family!!

This is a fantastic budget guest house run by the most friendly couple. Food is exceptional evening and breakfast. Rooms are incredibly clean and large. Location mins away from safari.

Good value for money! Nice tasteful breakfast and dinner. Great safari by the owners son! All in all a great stay.

Feeling one with nature on this location. Sudath and his family are wonderful people. The food is very good and it felt like home. Maybe a pool would be nice ;-)

It's all been said before, clean spacious room, excellent breakfast and dinner and knowledgeable driver/guide who respects the wildlife. We did a six hour trip in the afternoon which was great as we didn't have to get up early
