Lovely little traditional home stay, delicious breakfast and dinner, family was lovely and very welcoming, great location for the waterfall and caves

The lovely old lady host, good location close to the waterfalls and pagoda. Also good value for money.

The mattres maybe too hard.

Great homestay in the middle of a small village. Nice stone houses round the homestay. You have a terrace upstairs where you can chill and have a cold brew after a day of exploring. Family super nice. Good food as well.

Now, some places start to construct with bricks and metal roofs. Will destroy the charm of this beautiful place. Go now before it is too late.

- One of the owners was very helpful when I asked for the right bus back to Cao Bang. - The dinner was good.

- Very noisy at night as the rooms have a shared ceiling (so you can hear any snoring, talking or baby crying from the other rooms). - On weekends there is an open-air karaoke bar right next to the homestay, which can make sleeping impossible. (If you really like karaoke this could also be a pro for you) - The bathrooms are located outside the main house on the balcony / terrace.

The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The bathroom was fine, although the shower had very little water pressure. The location is good, close to the Dong Nguom Ngao caves and Ban Gioc waterfalls. In the morning, we were able to have breakfast there, and they made us some delicious banana pancakes.

The owner was kind English to upgrade me from the dorms to a small private room for a small fee so this review is for the private room- Good mosquito net, good shower pressure, loved that there was a desk and place to hang my towels and jackets. The hostess was kind. Only negatives is that the bed is extremely hard but that’s pretty normal for Vietnam. And Google maps doesn’t work and it’s extremely hard to find the homestay especially in the dark so beware and contact ahead of time

Nice hostel near by waterfall and kindly people. Good breakfast.
