Victorian Police Station - flexible suite, self contained

I will be booking again. The host and the facilities were exceptional for the price I paid. The host was super friendly and helpful, the suite was very comfortable and well equipped. Bonus it was within walking distance for my purpose.

Lovely room, all you needed for the stay was provided. Nice and clean, lovely view of the castle. We stayed on the night of the carnival and fireworks which was an unexpected added bonus. Lovely welcome from Emma who gave us lots of ideas for places to eat.

Little bit of confusion over the room being ready when we arrived but nothing dramatic. sorted in no time. Very narrow entrance to parking so used multistorey just along the road.

What a little gem of a place this is! We only stayed for a couple of nights, but felt at home from the moment we arrived. The space itself is quirky, as to be expected from a converted police station, but spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated with items from local businesses. Ziggy was an absolute star, friendly and helpful, and even let us stay in their lounge for an extra couple of hours after checking out when our ferry was cancelled. The little kitchenette was well stocked, with multiple choices for breakfast. There was a lot of attention to detail, with things like plenty of towels supplied along with a selection of toiletries, and a load of helpful information about the history of the building and local eateries. Parking was a little tight to get into, but very much appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again given the chance.

If I had to be really nit-picky, the only thing that could be better would be to move the bed away from the wall so that you could get in from both sides.

Great room, warm spacious, clean and inviting. Amazing location close to town centre and attractions. Onsite parking and close to public transport. Host was very welcoming and helpful happy to assist with any needs. Continental breakfast supplied with a wide range of options. Kitchenette very handy in room. Launceston and people in the town were friendly and welcoming. What an enjoyable experience.😊

I absolutely loved the refurbishment that the host, Ziggy, had done. The rooms were stunning and provided plenty of space and privacy. If I could give this a 100 star review, I would!

Nothing negative about this hotel, absolutely amazing.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The room and facilities were beyond our expectations. There was unlimited hot water and the shower was excellent. The location was good with easy access to shops and pubs (The Bell Inn is the best one around).
