Kembang Kuning Cottages

+ Cute family, taking care of the place and always smiley and ready to help. + My cottage was facing the garden, with a cute rice plantation. + Close location to the Tetebatu waterfall and the black monkey forest

- I didn’t have a running water at all, but after I told them they fixed it. The second day same story. - I had a bucket - the house it’s exactly next to the mosque so it is very very loud early in the morning and during the day for the praying times. If you don’t mind this, I guess it’s OK.

Awesome and attentive staff. Coffee and tea were available anytime and included in the price. For backpackers, it's a great meeting place; for picky wives.and mothers-in-law it's a bit of a challenge.

Could be cleaner. No hot water.

My water didnt work all the time But when you say something they do something straight away The pillows are moldy But thats a big issue in almost every place in Lombok+ Bali so far

While this homestay is very simple, we had a wonderful experience which was great value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and keen to ensure you felt like family. They gave great recommendations and the food - breakfast and lunch/dinner - was simple but delicious local dishes. We paid to go on a tour of the local rice paddies, waterfalls and monkey forest with the hosts who were extremely friendly and informative, making every effort to make the experience enjoyable. Overall, this is a great homestay to get an authentic Lombok experience.

The room could get quite hot so a thinner sheet would have been helpful.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Basic accommodation though, but for this price you cannot expect more, so keep that in mind. Nice breakfast & free coffee. They also have a restaurant. They do offer tours, whereas this turned us off very much overall in Lombok (really not their fault). It's crazy, for everything you're supposed to have a guide. No hot water
