"Exceptional"

I only stayed for a night but I really enjoyed my time at Kembang Kuning Cottages. All the family is super nice and willing to make you feel at home. The room was really nice, really confortable bed and the breakfast was great!! If I ever come back, I will definitely stay here again!

"Budget friendly place close to nature"

The area is really nice and relaxing, green rice fields and palm trees all over the place. Because of the greenery, the weather is really nice there, you do not feel hot. There are some great waterfalls nearby and the next village has some shops and places to eat. The host and staff were really nice and helpful, they can arrange scooter rentals, transportation or activities. Sometimes we would just sit there and they would bring us local food to try for free. Also the breakfast was delicious with many options. For this price, this accomodation is an excellent deal.

The bathroom could be a little better maintained. And there would be a place for a wardrobe or self, to put your stuff.

"Exceptional tours and food at a simple accommodation"

I had an incredible stay here! I came for 2 nights and I did 2 tours - the authentic villages tour and the waterfalls and rice paddies tour. They were both led by lovely young men who are members of the family and spoke wonderful English. They were the least touristy tours I have taken in indonesia - in most of the places we were the only people. I never felt like I was being scammed or ripped off just like I was being shown around someone's real life. I ate there both nights and all the food was delicious (papaya curry was a highlight). Accomodation is simple and the beds were clean as I expected from the photos and price.

Nice little homestay. Close to restaurants and sights nearby. Lovely and very helpful hosts and delicious food. The room was quite basic but the bed was nice

We had such a wonderful stay with this welcoming family! The accommodation is basic but more than good enough. The food was amongst the best we had in Indonesia. Would definitely recommend staying here!

You really felt at home in the middle of the island, you can be comfortable and relax with a view of the volcano and you have greenery everywhere... the food is totally incredible and delicious, cheap and everything is prepared at the moment.
