Mr.Abbas was very kind & helpful from the very day I made a booking at his property. He helped us organize Jungle safari & tickets to cultural programs at an economic rate. He was so honest that he provided us water bottles at half the price because when he bought them in bulk, it costed them half the price. He also dropped us to restaurants & other venues. Really appreciate his hospitality. Rooms are spacious & comfortable. Location was good too. Value for money. Highly recommend staying at spice cottage homestay!

Not a huge deal but its important for others to know that laundry service in this property has a slightly different definition. He has a washing machine in which he washes your clothes for a charge. You then have to collect your clothes & dry them on a clothing line yourself.

Abbas was a great host who was very accomodating and always tried to help us. He came to pick us up at the bus stop and overall during our whole stay he helped us book our trips etc. The location in the centre of Thekkady was very nice and everything was clean and ready upon our arrival.
