Marari Babu Homestay

We have had such a great time staying here - it has been so peaceful and relaxing. The homecooked breakfast and evening meals here are the best we have had in Kerala! Plentiful and always so delicious. The beach is minutes away - a piece of heaven. We stayed longer than we intended to! Thank you to Rani and Babu for making us feel so welcome. And Luca too!

We stayed at Marari Babu Homestay for one night, which happened to be the last night of our trip to India, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our journey. The place was amazing—clean, simple, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms weren’t over-the-top fancy, but they had everything we needed, and everything was well-maintained. One of the best parts was how close it was to the beach—just a quick two-minute walk! This made it so easy to enjoy the beautiful Marari Beach. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We had dinner at the homestay, and it was truly one of the highlights. They prepared so much delicious food—an absolute feast! It felt so thoughtful and generous, and we loved every bite. If you’re looking for a place to stay near Marari Beach, we highly recommend Marari Babu Homestay. It’s cozy, convenient, and full of heart.

Highly recommended Babu and his wife are warm, friendly and helpful, always with a smile The location is great, in the middle of a forest and very close to Marari beach. The property is clean, quiet and has a nice garden full of beautiful plants and birds. I recommend this place

Great location , superb homestay and best host.

Our stay was like returning home, as it was the second time at Mr. Babu's and we felt like long-awaited and welcomed. We enjoyed as much as before the homemade tasty food cooked with care in abundance by Mr. Babu's wife. Welcoming smiles and readiness to help, cleanliness, and comfort, Mr. Babu's excursion and closeness to nature made our stay relaxing and laid-back, just what we needed. We definitely recommend it for everyone who is looking for a getaway from urban life and harmony.
