Location, comfortable room, nice quiet garden and above all the kindness of the hosts

- wooden aesthetic of the property - large rooms with spacious veranda - exceptional staff

- our room was only separated from another by a single locked door. Meaning we could hear everything in the other room and it didn’t feel 100% private. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Beautiful garden, close to the beach, great breakfast, and very welcoming hosts ! Babu also sent a driver for us for the 2h drive from Kochi airport. Definitely recommend this homestay

This is one of the best authentic home stays we have ever stayed. The rooms are spacious and clean, the garden is stunningly beautiful, the beach is 2 minutes away and best of all, the couple that hosts are the sweetest people. Babu arranged our airport transfer and our backwaters boat trip and drive us there in his Tuk tuk. Rani is an excellent cook and prepared delicious breakfast. We also ate dinner there every night, made to order as there’s no menu. We just told her what we fancied in the morning and she made it. And the bill at the end was much much cheaper than what we anticipated! I have never been so sad to leave a place like I was sad to leave Babu marari Homestay. We’ll be back.

Beautiful jungle garden property full of birds and animals, so close to the beach. The best part of all was the hosts, who took care of us like family, served us home cooked delicious meals which were better than in a restaurant! Very happy and kind people, they made our stay feel like home.

Water wasn’t very hot in the showers, not enough shelf room in bathroom or bed room
