There are no much option for the breakfast but overall its okay.

The room was spacious and had potential for a comfortable stay. However, it seemed like the beddings may not have been changed, only the pillow covers, which was a bit disappointing. There was also a noticeable smell of mold in the bedroom. The second room upstairs didn’t have a lock, which affected privacy. Additionally, the listing mentioned a sea view, but we didn’t have that during our stay. With a few improvements, this place could offer a much better experience.

Unfortunately the couch folded out to a bed had a hard bar so kids had uncomfortable sleep but otherwise everything was amazing

Haben die Unterkunft gut gefunden, da eine Hinweistafel an der Strasse stand. Die Lage ist wunderschön, mit Blick auf New Plymouth und den Vulkan. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Wurden von George empfangen und begrüsst. Danach gabs ein Rundgang durch das Haus. War dann erstaunt, als es hiess, Frühstück könnt ihr dann selber machen. Andere Länder andere Sitten dachte ich. Mit George haben wir uns nicht unterhalten, weil wir früh schlafen gingen.

Als wir das Zimmer betraten, kam uns ein modriger, schimmliger Kellergeruch entgegen. So hatte ich es mir nicht vorgestellt. Auch das private Badezimmer befand sich ausserhalb unseres Zimmer. Fanden auch keine Ablagefläche für den Koffer. Beim Nachttische fanden wir keine Steckdosen. Leider verdunkeln die Vorhänge gar nicht. Bereits um 05:00 Uhr wird es wieder hell im Zimmer. Auch ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen.

Very comfortable stay in this well located B&B with close access to hiking routes and beautiful view of Mt. Taranaki from my bedroom window. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful place to stay.
