right on the pekoetrail for an easy start in the morning. Prosper the owner is a fellow trecker/fan of nepal so we spent the majority of the evening talking about trecking and other things. felt like I was couchsurfing even though it's on booking.

there is no dinner option but prosper can arrange delivery (600or800 rupees extra) but there is options in town if you want to eat before coming to the homestay in the middle of the tea plantations.

When hiking the Pekoe Trail we stayed here for a night, and what a nice house in a beautiful spot it is! Perfectly located on the trail, high up to catch the views, and a little distance away from town which is no issue at all, as a short tuktuk ride will get you to dinner quick. Host Prosper is intelligent and fun, we loved his company, and he knows to give you space and privacy too. If you like he can whip up some breakfast for a small fee too. A bright and cheerful homestay, I reckon all fellow Pekoe walkers should stop by here for a memorable stay. We more then enjoyed it

Prosper the owner really makes his guests feel at home, treated us like his own family. Hospitality at its best! A minimalist family room, sparkling clean & huge for our family with super comfortable beds. The View at Glenloch-Homestay truly lives up to its name! If you are looking for a relaxing & quiet place with serene views, this is the place to be. Highly recommended 👍 PS: these pictures were taken early morning from the rooftop 😉

Fantastic experience staying with Prosper for a night. He went above and beyond as a host - cooked me an early breakfast, arranged for dinner to be delivered, and even spent time cleaning and dressing my leech bites! Highly recommend for anybody planning on stopping during the Pekoe trail.

Staying with Prosper was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, he instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable. We loved hearing his stories and meeting his other guests. The house has beautiful views over the mountains and was a comfortable pit stop for us on the Pekoe Trail. Thank you to Prosper and Suba for such a wonderful stay! Keep in touch!

Can be a bit hard to find in the dark, but the host is very responsive and helpful.

Located perfectly along the Pekoe trail and near the Glenoch tea factory, beautifully designed with an outstanding view, and more than comfortable accommodation- but the highlight of this stay is Prosper, the owner. I liken him to the grandpa of the Pekoe trail - a man of vast experience, childlike wonder, kindness, and just a person with a pure heart. Stay here and meet a wonderful example of a human being.
