Mundro Garden Homestay

I think everything about the stay I loved it. Me and my pratner we both loved the family who hosted us..and so beautiful I really felt home and the home food was great and the host's dad took us for canoeing through the backwaters was beauriful very beautiful also they helped us so much with everything our next destination transportation too very helpful treated us as our own. Will definitely be back and if u are looking to stay please do u are choosing the right place..🫶❤️

There is nothing we didn't lile its just we visited kerela at the hottest time was the room was bit humid..but its has nothing to do with the stay the weather was very hot so All good...stay was perfect...ambienece was perfect...Family was the vest. ❤️

Little secret on Monroe Island. Peaceful hidden in the garden, nicely decorated and clean. We made a trip in the canals with grandfather which we absolutely recommend! Diner very tasteful and Deepa and family are wonderful people. They have the gift to make you feel happy ;-)! We cycled after a good night sleep further with sweet memories of Mundro Garden Homestay!

The delicious food we had at diner time (just try the paneer butter masala and pollichathu fish, it is fantastic) and at breakfast. The kindness of the hosts and their family ! The uncle of the hosts took my friends and me to a “canoe” tour in the backwaters and it was a wonderful moment of life !!

Beds were a little too hard for us

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were super helpful and friendly, cooked us delicious meals and organised all our activities and transport. Would definitely recommend!

Deepa and Subin were fantastic hosts, incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made delicious home-cooked food for breakfast and dinner which we ate in their household table. They arranged a canoe drip, provided bikes for us and helped out with anything else we would need. Very quiet and tranquil location not far from the railway station. Lovely clean room with bathroom, fan and AC if you choose it.

Probably our mistake as the pictures are shown, but we hadn’t realised which room we had booked - ours was the more basic room not in the main guesthouse area on the pictures. The only small point was that there was not really an outside space to sit and relax.

The hosts were so nice and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere so peaceful. They offer delicious homemade meals. They also offer boating activities if you want.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Munroe island is incredibly peaceful but Deepa, Subin and their whole family made this experience even more special. The food was fantastic, the sunrise canoe tour was truly our favourite experience in Kerala yet. The room was clean, comfortable and private - this was the perfect stay in Munroe. Deepa and Subin were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them and their son Adi who was an absolute bundle of joy.

We can’t fault anything about this experience, it was magic.

We had a wonderful stay here. The family is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The arranged everything we needed (bikes, canoe-ride, taxis..) rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this place!
