Breakfast is excellent. Location is very calm and quiet . Food was delicious. Deepa, her mother cook the food.The best food in our Kerala visit. Canoeing with her father for the sunset, it was amazing. .. Deepa is a chatterbox, she told all the stories of Munroe Island. We are the listeners. She clarified our doubt too. We wish to stay again.. We will comeback.. I highly recommended this stay. You will get an unforgettable memories. .. once again special thanks to Deepa and her family.

Deepa was super friendly and welcoming. We had a nice long chat about all sorts of things, She is interested in getting to know her guests, which makes the homestay all the better. The room was pleasant, and it seemed like fairly good value. The food was really tasty, and I was offered more if I wanted it, so very generous portions. Deepa arranged for her father to take me on a canoe trip, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Deepa was an exceptional host and very helpful! She helped us organise activities (biking, sunset canoe). She was very friendly and made our stay more enjoyable.

Munroe island is a great place and it gets even better when you stay with Deepa and her family at Mundro Garden Homestay. The place is clean and very well located, the food she offers is just delicious and you can go for sunrise and sunset walks quite easily as Deepa takes care of everything for you! She even took me to visit a temple in the town and taste the best soda on the island! I'd definitely recommend staying here for your holiday!

What a lovely place and what fun we had. Deepa is just wonderful and we had so many laughs. The place was super clean and really pretty; the food was lovely and the cooking class was fun.

We had such a wonderful time at Mundro Garden Homestay - the best place we have stayed at in India! Deepa is a very friendly, approachable and caring host who wants to make sure you have an amazing experience. Our room.was comfortable, we opted to have all of our meals there as she and her mum are fantastic cooks - it was great having home cooked Kerelan food. She organised a sunset canoe trip for us as well as a Shikara boat the following day to explore the peaceful backwaters. You can walk round the village and really get a flavour for local life. To top it all off, we did a fantastic cooking class with Deepa.She helped us with our onward travel by sharing train times and ordering us a tuk tuk to the station. Nothing was too much. This is an absolute MUST stay and will be the highlight of your holiday. Thank you Deepa for having us and also to your lovely family.

The family were very welcoming and friendly. We had breakfast lunch and dinner at the Homestay which were delicious and generous portions. We also did the canoeing trip at sunset which was very tranquil.
