"Wonderful! Warm and friendly homestay"

A lovely warm and friendly family who looked after us with yummy breakfasts. Deepa took us out to the local temple celebration of 100’s females making offerings with candles. Beautiful! The rooms were super spacious and beds really comfy. We took a canoe trip with Deepa’s father which was nice. Her mother is sweet and helpful. Lovely family. Shame we didn’t get to meet Deepa’s son. The surrounding area is quiet and calm, a real relaxing place to be. We loved Munroe Island!

It wasn’t really a problem but one of the air con units made quite a bit of noise at night

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Deepa is a wonderful host. She helped us arrange activities like kayaking and canoeing, she and her family Made a range of delicious curries for us and she is also a really lovely and interesting person to talk to. We felt so at ease and at home. Thank you Deep and family!

In a beautiful location of Monroe, it is so peaceful and filled with kind people. The property is clean, each with its own terrace and the option to have AC. Deepa was the most incredible host, she makes incredible home cooked local food and took us to the temple where she told us stories. This was definitely an experience we will not forget.

This place is really amazing. Deepa is a wonderful person and she and her family made my stay to a wonderful experience. We had a really nice sunset-tour with her father. The food was also very good. The room is big, cozy and clean. It was the best homestay I had so far in India!
