The bungalows are located in a beautiful garden , which slopes towards a river . Opposite side of the river the jungle begins. With fall of the night you hear the river and the sounds of the jungle. The hosts have created little platforms and pavilions to enjoy the view down to the river. I think this stay reflects very much the simple live in rural bali. In walking distance (30 min uphill) there is an important Balinese temple. The morning I walked up there were three different ceremonies , no other tourist then me and a another couple. Mt Batukaru is very present - often covered in clouds- short heavy rains possible.

The standards of the bungalows could be better. Generally clean, but simple.

Une expérience catastrophique. La chambre est dans un état de délabrement total : les murs ont besoin de peinture, les toiles d’araignées sont partout et les draps étaient déchirés et rafistolés. ​Côté confort et équipement, c’est inexistant : ​Insalubrité : Pas d’eau chaude dans la salle de bain, pas de chauffage ni de climatisation malgré le froid et la pluie. Une seule couverture fine fournie. ​Nuisances sonores : Le bruit incessant de la pompe à eau toute la nuit rend le sommeil impossible. ​Technique : La télévision est une antiquité qui ne fonctionne pas. ​Internet : Contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, le Wi-Fi ne fonctionne qu'à la réception. Il faut donc sortir de sa chambre et marcher sous la pluie jusqu'au hall pour espérer capter un signal. ​J'ai préféré abandonner ma deuxième nuit, pourtant déjà payée, plutôt que de rester une minute de plus dans cet endroit. Un conseil : passez votre chemin, cet établissement est à l'abandon.

Great place for a peaceful stay at Tgaljiro Homestay. It’s located at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by nature, with a river nearby and lots of open space. The area is large (over 1 hectare) with only 5 houses, so it’s quiet and not crowded. The temperature is very comfortable — not hot like on the coast. Easy access and good roads. The staff is very friendly, especially Adi, who is very helpful and welcoming. Perfect place if you want to relax, enjoy nature, and stay away from noise.

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer. Verblijven midden in het groen. Rustig gelegen. Lekker eenvoudig ontbijt. Waterfles ten alle tijden kunnen vullen. Als je geen zin hebt om te gaan eten kan je daar zten tegen betaling, het eten was super lekker klaargemaakt. De verblijven zijn gezellig ingericht.

Geen waterkoker in het verblijf. Geen glas aanwezig.

This was an amazing place to stay. A world away from the madness of the rest of Bali. Loads to do nearby.
