Nice room and comfy beds. Nice property.

The strong smell of food in our room, and having the closet filled with musty clothing. Being woken multiple times by owner and their friends. Unfortunately after we arrived at about 3.30pm for a nap before heading out for new years eve, we were woken by other guests trying to access their room and instead walking up on to our private deck and waking us. We later found out this was the owner's friends. We got back at 12.30am after a small new year gathering nearby. We expected some noise in the small hours, it's new years eve after all. We didn't anticipate being woken at 5.45am with loud talking beside our room which continued until the 10.30am checkout time, between the owner and her friends. She later apologised for the excessive noise, but as a paying guests we were somewhat bewildered as to why hours-long, loud conversations needed to be conducted right outside our room, when the proprietary itself was large.

The privacy and the beautiful gardens and native bush enabled us to have a wonderful boxing day with our family. Plenty of parking and a little piece of paradise listening to the tui and native birds in the bush. We will definitely be back, many thanks Nancy.

The barbecue and oven were not clean which was disappointing as everything else was clean.

The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed cooking our own meals. We loved the spacious garden and the outdoor dining area.

Nancy is a lovely host. Room is what I needed, clean, spacious and ensuite. suited the purpose perfectly. had to work and really needed somewhere quiet so I could focus.

I could hear the shower when it's running, from the room next door. quite noisy especially at night when I'm in bed ... clunking noise. forgot to mention that to Nancy but I was in a hurry. The decor, furniture and linen in the rooms are dated and mis-matched. would be nice to see modern linen that match to suit the surroundings.

Great accommodation and great host. Nancy was attentive and caring; she runs her business very well. The house was neat, tidy, with immaculate gardens.
