Riverbench Homestay Munnar, Anaviratty

Very nice hosts who do make you feel welcome. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful location, very peaceful and quiet. And there is a natural bath!

The location is pretty far from Munnar so for activities or visiting places you need to book a rickshaw for a day

Sabu and his wife are such great hosts.

Amazing location, like in a tropical forest (actually, not "like", but a real rainforest). On our walk nearby we found Jackfruit, coffee, muscat, cocoa beans, papayas and other things growing. Such a relief to be in riverbench after the hectic place like Munnar.

The Riverbench is in a beautiful location with stunning views. The rooms are very spacious with huge beds. The balcony offers a great view. The best thing about our stay was the hospitality of our hosts. Sabu and his family made us feel most welcome. Mini’s cooking was amazing, real local Keralan food with much of the ingredients from their gardens. This was our first experience of a homestay in India but based on this we will definitely be doing it again!😍

I very much enjoyed my stay. If you're looking for a remote place with a nice view over a little valley with jungle and the sound of a river in the background, this is for you. But the hospitality of Sabu and Minnie and their family is what actually makes this place special. They are very warm and welcoming and will immediately take care of everything you ask for. Sabu organized a massage for me which was marvelous (if you're looking for the same, ask for Sajesh, a very nice and experienced massage therapist). The food served for breakfast (or lunch or dinner, if you ask for it) was always delicious, you don't really need to look for restaurants. Thank you for everything!

No complaints whatsoever!

The location was superb. Well maintained rooms with great view. The food was tasty. Value for money. The best part is however the excellent host family. Ever smiling Sabu and his wife Mini and their lovely children. Extended our stay because of these factors. Please don't hesitate to book this accomodation. My only regret is we didn't stay longer.

The view, the food, the ambience, the hospitality. I literally can't think of an aspect that I didn't like.

As I've mentioned in the 'likes' there's literally nothing we didnt like. Everything was better than what we expected.

We had a lovely time in a very lovely location with very kind and lovely hosts. It could not have been more perfect. Lovely place to stay and great locality to explore nearby and further a field around Munnar.
