Very quiet place, nice big rooms, friendly family and amazing home cooked food.

It was very pleasant stay. The place was very calm and inside the nature. The host Sabu and his family were very lovely. Would love to visit this homestay again sometime in future. Highly recommend.!

Sabu and his family are the most welcoming and warm people you could imagine. We felt very comfortable and happy at their home. The rooms are beautiful and very clean and have a view over the forest valley and the river. The food is extraordinarily good and you never had to wait for a tea, a coffee or a snack. It is a very peaceful place and we would have loved to stay even longer, although we have been there for almost a full week. Definitely the best homestay we had in India!

Best place in Munnar area, peaceful location in the forest sits by the river. Sabu, Mini & Annan make us feel like home away from home + the benefits of living in the nature. Great people, always smiling and willing to help with everything we needed and more. Definitely 10/10 Highly recommended!

We went to stay for one night but stayed for two nights as we fell in love with this Home stay. Rooms were super clean, beautiful interior, away from munnar town deep inside the woods. There is a river flowing beside the home stay and the scenes are beautiful ❤️. The host's Sabu and Anie are two beautiful souls. Felt like staying with mom and dad. They also helped us with restaurants, tourist spots and vehicle rentals.

The best budget hotel at beautiful location. Hospitality is the best thing happened. Will prefer again if visiting

First and the foremost, It actually gives us a home feeling with the greenery and the garden they built around and something about this property always gives us a feeling to stay and if not, come back. The home cooked food was amazing and you will get plenty of it 😬. The rocks and waterfall nearby the homestay is amazing and I find it as the best place to relax as it is not at all crowded and you can fetch some very fresh water coming all the way from top. The family including Mr. Sabu and his Mrs were the best host. And the most fascinating thing about the room is that it has a balcony where you can just sit and relax watching the birds chirping throughout the day. Its a 10/10. Go for it.

We came across Riverbench homestay while looking for pet friendly stays in Munnar & we are so glad we did. We stayed there with our pet dog Simba for 3 nights. The place is beautiful with clean rooms & clean washrooms. The place is located right next to a river stream & you have your own private river access! All the rooms are river facing & the place is surrounded with lush greenery & the soothing sound of the flowing river makes your stay here ‘a cut above the rest’. Mr. Sabu & Mrs. Mini Sabu are excellent hosts. Their hospitality is unlike we’ve ever experienced before. They make you feel right at home & a part of their family. They provide amazingly delicious finger home cooked meals! You can feel the warmth & efforts put into making each meal. We loved the food so much that we would always return before dinner to enjoy the delicacies Mrs. Mini would serve 😍 The energy of the place is soothing & calm. Riverbench is one of those places where you can never just say goodbye, it will be goodbye with a promise to return. We thank you for your warmth & hospitality.
