Water Gate Tourist Home and Resorts

The location is nice and staff arranged a kayaking tour for us. For extra costs he arranged dinner and breakfast.

The owner was very rude to my family and did not understand our situation. He also made discriminating remarks about my family friend. We were sleeping in some new rooms that looked like were built the day before. Thin walls, small, looked like a construction site. In my sisters room was some nasty Web of an insect or something. No towels available and very small hard beds.

We stayed there for a night. The place is so good and in front of the place you will get the boat service. The person who is handling the property is so cool. In this place, the boat service timings are 4:30am and 4pm. They have only two timings but it's worth it. To reach Munroe island we got down at Kollam and got an auto which is too costly. So if you need any pick and drop services, that's also possible, check with the property. From this place, the railway station and bus depot are so close (just 500m). Overall a good stay and enjoyed the boating also.

The resort is really nice , nice rooms, clean and comfortable . The breakfast is authentic home made food The owner is amazing and a verygood host :) Will recommend it for sure

I just feel that mosquito nets are missing in the windows or in the beds :)
