The good wifi.

The room was run down. As room no 1 is just next to the street it was noisy from the traffic. As an colonial building there were openings in the ceiling that were supposed for air circulation. Because of the a/c they were closed with polyester transparent boards. That made the room very bright. The ventilation of the bathroom was hanging down already when we got in there. In the morning by 9:30 there arrived some workers and drilled two big holes in the patio floor in order to test the possibility of building a second floor. The workers were nice, but nevertheless it would have been respectful of the owner inform beforehand of the construction. My first two nights I stayed in a different room. These nights I could pay by credit card. For the next three nights I was forced to pay cash. Obviously, I will never go to that place again.

The location is good when staying in a room in the back. The a/c worked well and so did the internet.

The supposed wardrobe had no shelf but a bar with two hangers. The safe in the room did not work. Everything is rather run down. Little things would make this room better su h as hooks and hangers.

It was central and budget-friendly. The air conditioner was working without a problem, which was very important for us.

1. The lady who was there during the day knocked our door many times early in the morning, to ask for the money of the room (which we thought that we took care of through Booking) and tell us that we have to keep the air conditioner on, because it apparently helps the laundry that she hangs outside. It was absolutely unnecessary and not okay that she kept on knocking the door, because the door literally opens to your bed. 2. There was weird crumbles of white thread-like stuff all over on the bed sheets that did not go away even after days. 3. There was the problem with the payment. The employee who was responsible of charging us on Booking charged the wrong amount. Two days after the check-out the owner reached me on WhatsApp, asking for the money. We eventually figured a solution out, but it was unnecessary.

two out of the 5 rooms are on the front with a very heavy noise from the road day and night. not lucky we got the N•1…trucks,cars, music bus at nearly 5 meters from your room without windows…you even enjoy the vibration from the trucks
