the price is very cheap, perfect for a stand by to do the volcano nearby. room can be locked so its safe people very welcoming. possibility to rent scooter to his brother

- the location : it is only 45min away by car from the start of the Ijen hike - the host was very reactive and offered to 1/pick us up from the ferry and 2/Ijen tour (reasonable price) - cheap

- the room needs refreshing : considered the price, we didn’t expect luxury but there were mold stains, a hole in the roof, insects like cockroaches. - we booked a car transfer with the staff to go to Bromo, which in the beginning seemed easy. However, and much unfortunately, the host said we could go directly after the end of Ijen. We ended waiting over two hours before we were able to leave, without any indication on when or if we would go and why we were waiting. Because of the difficulty to communicate, we ended up not making any of the trains and were stuck with the car. We were quite disappointed by the host, especially as we were very happy in the beginning about his support

- Extremely cheap place to stay to start early the IJEN sunrise - Really nice host - You can organise either just the transportation or do a tour with a guide to IJEN

- Facilities are extremely basic, but with this price you can not expect more ! - There is nothing to do around, it's really a place to stay just for one night to go to IJEN, but it's what I expected so it was perfect for me

"Perfect for the night prior to Kawah Ijen ascension - very attentive host!!"

Budi is a VERY attentive host. - He came to pick me up from the port for a small fee (30' drive). - helped me organising my ascension to Kawah Ijen and connected me to fellow travelers (as a solo traveler that was very welcomed). - helped me to solve a mistake I had made (booked a train from the wrong train station) and took me to the station to print my tickets prior to departure. The room is basic but perfect for the night and the price is unbeatable! Stay there, you won't regret it.
