I had a great stay! They were so kind, offering me coffee and helping me arrange my Ijen tour with a guide. Budi even gave me a ride to the port for my trip to Bali. I would definitely recommend it!

i highly recommend this place , i stayed one night there to do the volcano the next day when i arrived he came to me with scooter from the train station to the hostel . that night i was hungry and i didn't find any resto or place to buy something to eat . so he cooked for me rice , egg , chicken and tea and when i ask him how much he didn't want me to pay anything he said enjoy your food . staff was really good there

Budi is an amazing host and goes above and beyond to help. Not only did he pick us up from Banyuwangi station late at night, he arranged our tour to Ijen and transport to Gillimanuk the next day as well as lend us a moped to explore the area. The rooms were modest, but clean and cosy. The homestay is the perfect location for climbing Ijen. You can’t get much better value for the price! We also appreciated the free water refills 😊

Slight damp in the room and the shower’s hot water tap wasn’t working. But other than that no problems.

Budi was the kindest host ever! He does everything for his guests. He picked me up by motorbike from the port, gave me a lift to a nice local warung for dinner, and gave me delicious breakfast at his place in the morning after my ijen trip. He organised and booked my whole ijen and bromo trip, including transfer to malang after bromo. Ijen was beautiful and although we didn’t get the views we hoped for in bromo because of a lot of rain, Budi and the rest of our group made the trip fun and enjoyable. Thank you :) Eva from Scotland

Good place to stay if you are planning to stay for a few nights in Banyuwangi. The host can show you the most beautiful places in a short amount of time!
