Good place

Was ok for a night before climbing Ijen. The room is super basic and you will be in the middle of a local area. Just some really basic stores and warungs.

Budi was a very nice host, he helped us book the ijen tour

However there was a lot of mold on the walls of the kitchen and bathroom and the bed was hanged through. For the tour of ijen we had a driver which was great however at the top we got a guide which was supposed to walk up with our group… this guide was very bad an we only saw him at the start and then never again(so we had to walk up and return ourselves) Also good to know is that ijen is closed on every first friday of the month. This happened to us and we didn’t know about it until 1 day before… so we had to extend our stay for one night.

Lovely family run homestay, the rooms are humble but comfortable enough for 1-2nights. The food was delicious and the price unbeatable.

It is not in the city but the owner promptly offered to drive me around to get some things solved without extra costs.

Amazing staff ! Very organised and helpful! They are beautiful people . The owner bring us also to eat late night arrived and the food was excellent! Thanks again for all ! The tour at mount ijen was something indescribable!

The owners are very nice and helpful. The rooms are basic but for the price you pay, there is nothing to complain about. They have a clean kitchen that you can use and free water refills. You can rent a bike, a mask and a headlamp at the hostel to do Ijen for a very cheap price. The location is perfect too!

Budi was a very nice and friendly host. He accommodated us in everything. He helped us arrange various things (e.g. train tickets). He won my heart. The opportunity to get to know the real life of local people. We had plenty of drinking water available. We could cook ourselves in the kitchen. Budi arranged a trip to Kawah Iljen Volcano and Kawah Wurung Volcanic Park - without fault.

The accommodation offered very little comfort. Suitable for undemanding. But the very low price is adequate. Poor air conditioning. Humidity in rooms..

The price was good and we arranged our Ijen tour with the host, which was incredibly good. Really enjoyed the tour and can recommend it.

It's very basic and a little bit out of town. You need some kind of transport if you want to go to Banjuwangi.

Mr Budi was a great host. Helped me organise a Ljen volcano tour.
