West Point Backpackers Hostel

Exceptional host who invited me for breakfast with her family. You get some complimentary tea in the room which is a great touch. The room is very comfortable and the host clearly makes a lot of effort to make you feel at home.

It is a long walk to town centre, so consider if you have mobility issues, but if you are somewhat fit it is no problem and the walk along Gandhi Road has some great views.

It's very nice place . The behaviour of owner is so good. Here you will get everything neat ant clean . You can stay here with your family . Near this home stay , there is a restaurant who make delicious home food . On ground floor, mio more is also available where you will get patties, cake, pizza, etc which is run by owner of westpoint backpackers

I came here at 3:00 am at night . But my check in was at 11:30 am in morning. We go here and there for 8 hours . But it was our default.

Hosted Rebeca mam is very welcoming nature. Amazing view from balcony. If weather is clear you can see easily Kanchenjunga.Homestay location is good you can got taxi easily. If you see budget friendly room with family just go for it.

Rebecca the owner is a lovely person and very helpful with advice. Clean Drinking water out of the taps is a huge bonus.

It's a little ways out of town, but that's part of the charm.

I had the pleasure of staying at west point backpacks hostel for 10 days, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel like part of the family—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. It genuinely felt like home throughout my stay. The place was spotlessly clean and hygienic, which made it even more comfortable. One of the little things that made a big difference was the unlimited tea available in the room—such a thoughtful and relaxing touch. The view from the property was absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and refreshing backdrop every day. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to unwind and recharge. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely, serene, and well-cared-for place to stay.
