Close to location for my event

Room was not sufficient No tea facilities Bed was not comfortable Toilet lock was faulty Shower was terrible

Nothing, it was absolutely terrible, The only upside was its location.

There is no positives to this place. The rooms were in poor repair with stains and damage all over the bedroom, bathrooms and hallways. The mattress in both rooms i stayed in were old and damaged in areas making sleep extremely uncomfortable. The bedding was dirty and didn’t seem to get changed on a daily basis. The Tv’s in the bedrooms are not connected to a aerial so serves no purpose at all. There is no coffee, tea, sugar or milk in the rooms so the kettle is pointless as well. The shower tray drain is blocked and overflows when showering. Overall a terrible experience and poor value for money. Sent an email to complain to the manager and have had zero response from them.

Staff provided the Wrong code for key box which was very inconvenient with added expense of needing to get a phone to sort it out while standing out in the rain

Toilets were clean

We found bed bugs in the morning after sleeping the entire night in the bed, we were quite freaked out. There were patches of something on the floor and the sheets didn’t look very clean.

It had a roof.

Still expensive for what is a pretty grim place. Not particularly clean and everything a bit tired. Was passable for a night after a few drinks.

Enjoyed the weekend

Nothing

Wifi did not work. I asked for the ID and password. Did not answer my message. Later gave me a non-existant WIFI address.

Softness of bed. Quietness.

The shower. Barely had I washed the lower part of my body when the water turned cold and I had to abort. The staff's reaction to this: Something about saving water, and ecology. The single mains socket being adrift from the wall. The manager fixed it. Bed left as previous occupant had left it. Sheets unchanged till third full day. Television: No aerial. Wall radiator off and on according to whim of people downstairs. But fan heater available. No access to any fridge. When I bent to retrieve object from floor and rested hand on shelf for steadiness, it collapsed, and me with it. Mgr fixed it.
