Woodside Lodge

It had a beautiful garden and the bed was comfy and very clean no spiders inside the property. Plenty of tea, biscuits and milk. I didn't get chance to try the outdoor wooden sauna but even the sun was shining into it in March! It looked lush. Prompt communications with the host at all times by text but it was nice and private and I never actually met them face to face.

On arrival I was reminded I had southerners blood as it was a bit chilly as the heating was set to off. But a quick text to the owner and it warmed up within about 15 minutes and the room was perfect them throughout so not an issue. It was an unusually cold weekend in March.

Great location, very comfy bed, good shower pressure. Access to the washing machine/dryer was really useful. Tea/coffee facilities and mini fridge were also great. Felt very safe in the property and also able to park car right outside.

Access to a microwave would have been useful to make basic meals in the room easier - however probably only an issue for longer stays. Nice cafe and takeaways within walking distance, plus plenty of other lovely places to eat/explore if you can drive.

It’s a small self contained unit, you can come and go with ease without disturbing anyone else.

Clean & quiet, self-contained

The room was great. The bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great little room. Everything needed was there, good bathroom, comfy bed, quiet, quick responses from the owner.

Nothing really, ( a hair drier would be good )
