Host lives onsite but discreet. Comfortable rooms in nice and quiet neighbourhood, out of the crowd but within walking distance to Hallstatt.

Basic utensils but adequate for light cooking only.

Hosts hospitality was great. I would recommend alpens apartment to everyone who plans on visiting Hallstat.

2 big rooms with kitchen and dining table are perfect for my family stay. Our host is very helpful to guide me to her lovely place even it will take us 15 to 20 min walking distance to reach from jetty. Her place is so near to Salt mines. At night, you able to see so many stars in the sky :). It is lovely and quite neighborhood to stay in. Our family really enjoy our stay.

The property was cozy, very clean, and close to the city center, hosts were welcoming and very helpful

Apartment was warm, cozy, and had all amenities we needed. The host was so sweet and even let us check in early. The location is perfect for Hallstatt, we walked through the entire city multiple times effortlessly!

Just a bit pricey, but I think that's pretty much everything in Hallstatt.
