Deluxe Apartment Graz

Good and new apartment. Very clean. Good terrace with the table, so you can take your meal outside.

Quite far from the city center, but very quiet & beautiful location.

Es war Sauber und die Einrichtung war Modern. Parkplatz direkt davor war auch extrem hervorragend. Gastgeber extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Internet ist dort leider eine Katastrophe. Es ist immer kurz da und dann wieder weg. mbit/s sind auch extrem wenig.

The apartment was exactly as presented in the photos, with the addition of a better automatic espresso machine replacing the simpler capsule machine in the photos. Very spacious and comfortable, well equipped with Miele appliances and excellent lighting throughout all spaces, as well as curtains, blinds, and fly nets on all windows, combined with air conditioning, means you have full control over the light and environment inside for your preference. Parking right in front of the apartment means easy step-free access and is perfect for heavy luggage. Excellent location - quiet and safe, and just 2-3 minutes from public transport, especially bus line 32 that reaches the very heart of Graz in 15-18 minutes meant we didn't use our rental car at all. Easy communication with the hosts, entirely online, and self access using a code meant we didn't have to worry about how late we arrive. Generous check-out time of 11 am is a standout in the region. Excellent shower with really good pressure is worth mentioning as well.

Primary issue is maintenance - while the rooms, furniture, bed and bathroom were all clean, some areas showed that long term maintenance is lacking a bit of attention: pots and kettle had a significant scale buildup that hasn't been cleaned properly. We found 2 wet towels in the washing machine (and ran a cycle to properly wash and dry them). Some walls had had holes filled but not painted, which really conflicts with the otherwise premium aesthetic of the apartment. Beyond this, some minor things missing to make it more complete, such as a toaster (most apartments in Austria will have one) but that is negligible. Last thing to keep in mind - while inside the apartment is perfect, the back yard is a bit awkward and really lacks privacy as the walkway to upstairs apartments or their balconies all face into your back yard and anyone entering/leaving them will be looking directly at you if you hang out there. Large as it is, you won't be sunbathing or sitting in your undies outside. This is a result of the weird architecture of the apartment complex which doesn't seem to prioritize privacy, and I doubt there's much the hosts can do to remedy it.

Apartment located in a safe area, very comfortable beds, very quiet area, very clean (except for the container in the espresso machine for collecting used coffee). A big plus for the parking space which is right in front of the apartment entrance door. We used public transport to reach all the sights in the tourist area of ​​Graz. The bus stop is very close (about 400 meters).

The container in the espresso machine for collecting used coffee hadn't been washed in a long time; even though we washed it ourselves, we didn't want to use the espresso machine anymore!!!

Nice and very clean with most amenities available for a comfortable stay. There is a parking space just in front of the unit which makes it very convenient. There is also a big mall nearby but we did not get to visit as it was closed on Sunday.
