Great property in a fantastic location. Walking/bike paths, shops, restaurants and beautiful beaches.

The pool gate at my end of the resort was broken so access was via the other end. A small issue but after speaking to the owner of another unit she said it had been blocked off for some time.

The apartment was ideally located and had all the necessary essentials.

The apartment was not 100% clean, particularly the mirrors and glass doors in the bedrooms which had smudges. Initially, we did not have hot water and after two days the agent fixed the problem! For a "luxury" apartment surely you would expect hot water.

Our unit #1120 had mould on ceilings, shower floors were dangerously slippery due to not being scrubbed when cleaned, vanity basin plugs had residue around them - not clean.. Bathroom mirrors were not cleaned either. Shower heads were pathetic - no pressure. Found it difficult to rinse shampoo out of my hair. Windows were dirty. Kitchen had gross smell. Outside patio seating area was disgusting and unable to be used - cobwebs on ceiling corners, dirty walls and floors, dirty seats & cushions. Unit needs a thorough overhaul to bring up to acceptable standards.

Great location. Park the car and don’t have to leave. Close to restaurants and day spa. Short stroll to beach. Great pools.

We have just spent 11 enjoyable nights at Peppers Bale, Salt Village, Kingscliff. However, we feel that it is a pity that such a beautiful apartment, which has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, has been neglected. Cushions on the beautiful balcony furniture were very badly stained and the balcony walls and windows were covered in large cobwebs and in dire need of a good clean (no mop or vacuum cleaner in the apartment). Microwave door was damaged on the inside, Gas cooktop (hob) was dangerous to use with flames on wok burner 30cm high.This was reported and a photo shown to the local agent, Holiday Management Co. Kingscliff, 3 times and it was still in exactly the same state when we left. The owner should be made aware of these problems.
