The Top Place Retreat

Sharyn and Pat were really welcoming, the place was spotless and spacious. It was an absolutely beautiful property, with so much to do and see. From a private waterfall, to diverse wildlife and stunning sunrises. Pat gave me a tour of the property, he was really informative with some really interesting facts! The retreat exceeded my expectations.

Location was absolutely amazing. Hats off for the effort Pat and Sharyn have put in to the property to make it an awesome place to stay, and for the local info that helped us make the most of our time while at The Top Place Retreat.

Totally a personal preference but I wasn't a fan of the breakfast options.

I like the serenity of the accommodation provided after a busy day with work. The place was spotless clean. And upon my arrival I saw all breakfast items carefully chosen for my dietary requirement. I cannot wait to be back.

Truly a Top Place in the heart of beautiful Tasmania. It is a quiet, off-road, location (best use 4x4 or at least off-road vehicle) with breathtaking views. Great lofts. Ideal for a real retreat. Sharyn & Pat are friendly and very helpful hosts. There is even a small 9 hole / par 3 course under construction. Will take another 1 or 2 years but nice for practice (ask Pat for a Pw and an 8, and you're off).

Hardly anything. There is no WiFi so you need a mobile with data-package. Telsim has good reception.

Our hosts sent us a message as to how to get into our unit and where to find the keys.

Spectacular views. This is a wonderful place to come and relax.Walk around the property. There is a lovely creek and waterfall. Pat was lovely showing us around. . Breakfast basket was lovely

This property was the most beautiful place we stayed. Just beautiful, everything was clean and well looked after, tho you do have neighbours it’s still very private and you can have your space or join others around the fire pit. We traveling for work but staying at this place felt like a luxury holiday in a peaceful fresh air paradise. Lots of great places to walk and things to do if you like to get out and explore or staying in was very cozy, it was beautiful decorated. The breakfast supplies did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and we appreciate we could have a dairy free milk option! Can’t wait to go back

We would have liked to stay longer and not have to work so we could just enjoy… - I’m allergic to a lot of insects so I would take bug spray next time so I can enjoy being out at dusk more by the fire or on the back porch area

The view was sensational and very comfortable bed. Pat was very helpful and friendly and took us to see the track he was constructing, leading along the creek on their property and some wonderful waterfalls.

Lighting in the room could have been better.

Excellent communication from the owners. Well equipped to cook and everything was very cozy and modern.

No wifi but we were able to switch off and relax. We lost power one of the nights we stayed but the hosts were lovely and offered us some hot water and some hot breakfast from their home.
