Beautiful view, comfy bed, handy kitchenette, lovely bathroom. Pat saw us struggling to fix our car that we damaged driving elsewhere and helped us heaps, getting tools etc. He was fab and we met their gorgeous doggo 😍

Location is 1.5 hours from Cradle mountain and 1 hour from Launceston. Lovely Cabin with beautiful woodland surroundings. Bumped into Pat (the host) one early morning and he gave us a quick guide to their creek and explored their area a bit more. Only stayed for 2 nights - could have stayed a week. Absolutely wonderful experience. Hosts were helpful - responded straight away when I had queries. Highly recommended

I was expecting breakfast hamper with bread for toast etc but there were eggs, milk, butter and flour to make pancakes. As well as yoghurt and muesli. Host explained because of different dietary requirements, they decided not to provide bread, Woolworths was 20 mins drive away so not a big issue. Also the uncovered dirt road to the cabins could be a bit rough - we only had a small car rental and had to be very careful driving up to the cabin - could be a problem in winter for small cars

Spacious, new, nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Beautiful panoramic views of the countryside and surrounding mountains. No WiFi (which is stated by host in advance), for us it was a plus and made it even more relaxing. Very generous and thoughtfully chosen breakfast selection provided, which was much appreciated.

As other reviews stated there is a slight issue with soundproofing, ie occasionally hearing the adjacent unit, but in our case it was only for a short time when we were sitting in our kitchen area and the “neighbours” came in from their afternoon outing. It wasn’t loud and it did not particularly bother us. Not sure how the soundproofing can be improved further in that particular building design, but if it can be, the Top place would be absolutely flawless.

Loved the view, the comfort, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. Wonderful shower. Good breakfast.

We found it a bit of a nuisance hearing voices coming through the walls from the neighbouring rooms. Also would have liked internet access...our mistake though as it does state there is none. Unfortunately we never met the hosts.
