Comfortable fully equipped self contained cabins. Clean and maintained ... even the knives were sharp. We had a great week here

The property is at the top of a long hill from the main settlement. If you are young, fit, and comfortable on a bicycle it is fine. Otherwise it is a kilometer plus climb up a steep hill ... but then almost everywhere on Lord Howe presents the same challenge .

I liked the garden setting, privacy of unit 1 and Barbara's friendly advice and checking that all of our needs were being met.

The internet connection in our unit was a bit slow but performed well in the garden.

The location is close to Ned's Beach, which is a 'must visit' for anyone heading to Lord Howe Island. Barbara, the host, facilitates transport to restaurants and facilites as required, as well as picking up and dropping off at the airport, which makes it easy to get established on your holiday.

WiFi reception was only available close to the router, which meant our apartment, being the furthest away, received no signal. Overcome by walking to the router location, but not particularly convenient.

It’s on Lord Howe Island so a great start. Quiet and secluded. Spacious with a comfy bed. Barbara the host was lovely.

Ceiling fans would have been a plus but portable fan was OK.

Location

Property is old and run down. Shower tiles need replacing, dog towel given as a hair towel. Carpet old and needs replacing. Washing machine broken. Customer Service a mix bag and you must love dogs.
