SEAVIEWS Oak Beach

Lovely property at the back of oak beach . Overlooking the tropical garden and sea in the distance . The hosts left lots of lovely treats , they were very attentive . Beautiful , tropical oasis .

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place. You should not hesitate to stay here. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming – they made us feel at home right away. On our last evening, they even lit a special “thank you” fire, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. The views are absolutely fantastic, and the facilities are excellent, making it a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. A special tip for future guests: be sure to try the homemade pizza and beer that Richard makes – it’s delicious and really adds to the experience!

Nothing not to like. It was amazing.

My partner and I stayed at SeaView for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was simply wonderful. The Airbnb offered a cozy yet stylish ambiance, just as described in the photos—but even better in person. The night sky view from the Airbnb was something to behold. Although our snorkeling plans were canceled due to weather, the comfort and charm of SeaView made up for it. We ended up spending a full day enjoying the stunning balcony views and relaxing. A standout feature was the BBQ machine provided by our hosts, which made for delicious meals. Richard and Marti were fantastic hosts. Richard warmly welcomed us and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Their timely advice about a highway shutdown due to a local event allowed us to adjust our travel plans smoothly. The location was ideal—20 minutes to Port Douglas, 40 minutes to Cairns, and walking distance to Oaks Beach. We also visited Pretty Beach, just a 3-minute drive away, on Richard's recommendation. Overall, this wasn’t just a stay but an experience. We will definitely return to SeaView on our next visit to Cairns!

Nothing it was perfect!

The hosts provide exceptional hospitality. A very thorough overview of the place and many recommendations for the area. They make themselves available if required which is great for peace of mind. The place itself is truly special, waking up to the sunrise and the birds each morning is magical! And the location is perfect for a more private homely getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Finally the BBQ coals are specially provided by the hosts and create a delicious smoky flavour to whatever is cooked.

My wife and I really loved this place. It was the perfect place to come and unwind. We enjoyed going for walks on the nearby beaches and exploring Port Douglas. It was extremely comfortable and we felt immediately felt at home. Richard and Marti were great hosts and communicated well.
