Deluxe Capital Street Stay for 12

The location was good and space was fine. This flat has its potential.

It was not so clean or more like shabby. Windows were dirty. Window handles was missing. The curtains were hanging so-so. Big fridge was dirty. One stove knob was missing. No recycling opportuinty. Mold at the shower. There was quite a lot to fix.

For the price, this is just the perfect option to stay the night! Location is in the very center, 135 m2 with several bedrooms, living room and own kitchen, 2 toilets and a bathroom. Also, the apartment had everything you needed: a hairdryer, refrigerator, stove, kitchen table, towels and bedding, dishes. A very friendly receptionist, when I picked up the keys, explained everything in detail and sent me a video on how to get to the apartment, how to open several doors, and how to leave the apartment. Next time I will definitely stay here with my friends!

In general, there are more pros than cons. The only problem was that I had to pick up the keys in another place, about 20 minutes from the apartment, and I was lucky that I only had a backpack because I couldn’t imagine what people with suitcases would do. Also, the building does not have an elevator and has steep stairs, which would have been quite stressful if I had a suitcase.

The location is great and the apartment is spacious.

Picking up the keys from a location far away from the apartment was a problem nd there is no parking around. They should consider getting a lock box for the keys.

This apartment has so much potential, if it had some love! It is huge, easily sleeps 6-8 people (sharing rooms). The ceilings and character of the property are nice. The kitchen is in working order (only 3 pans but plenty of crockery & cutlery). There was also a small fan in the bedroom.

Firstly, the first picture on the listing isn’t this place! The stairs and banisters, into and in the property aren’t safe. They are seriously wobbly, steep and the banister wouldn’t help you if you fell! When we arrived there was clumps of hair on the floor and makeup on the sink. The fridge smelt. The windows were left wide open, which made us feel quite unsafe. The living room door is falling off it’s hinges, leaving a screw exposed. There was a lot of dust on the sides, pictures and beams! The shower stank of mouldy water. There are multiple pieces of floor and tiles that are broken, some parts are very sharp and cut my foot. The walls and skirting boards are cuffed and the ceilings have splattered stains on them. Throughout the house, many of the lightbulbs don’t work so you have to wash up in the dark! The wifi didn’t have internet connection, through our whole stay so we couldn’t use that. The icing on the cake is that the bedroom windows don’t close, meaning there are hundreds of mosquitos (not exaggerating) in the bedroom. I am COVERED in bites, easily over 30 (in three days). We even put up a mosquito net (luckily we had one as we’re off to Asia soon) and sprayed ourselves before we went to bed but we still got eaten alive.

Size and location are great

Bathroom was old and not very clean, low quality mattresses and pillows, overall upkeep of the property

Needs a little TLC as the walls were a little scuffed in places & would have liked a wardrobe in the bedroom

No TV? Sparsely furnished

this is arguably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. it’s huge, full of light and well heated. there isnt much in the actual apartment but it doesn’t matter. the view and the beautiful place will make up for it.

I didn’t like having to pick up the keys in a different location. very inconvenient
