Rent a Flat - Bruxelles

- Connectivity from the midi station and surrounding areas. - spacious and well equipped.

- The toilet was not clean. - water pressure was very low - There were no dishwasher tablets provided. Had to buy a full packet for a short stay. - the door to the shower room doesn't close. Maybe something to do with the water heater. But nonetheless, a bit inconvenient when traveling with a toddler. - lastly, there are lot of noises from the main street next to the building and from the building itself.

Die Wohnung ist groß und gut eingerichtet, die Lage in Bahnhofsnähe günstig. Für zwei Personen ok, das Sofa aber als Bett ungeeignet. Zum Glück geht das Schlafzimmer nach hinten raus, die Fenster halten den Straßenlärm nicht ab.

Der Vermieter hat trotz mehrfacher, verschiedener Versuche, Kontakt aufzunehmen, nicht geantwortet. Wir hatten die Wohnung ausgewählt, weil sie angeblich über eine Spülmaschine verfügt. Diese ist jedoch schon lange außer Betrieb: Frontverkleidung abgerissen, keine Spülkörbe darin, nur brackiges Wasser. Und es gibt weder Spülmittel, noch einen frischen Schwamm als Ersatz. Ich habe es in den vielen Jahren bei booking noch nie erlebt, dass ein Vermieter nicht erreichbar ist. Wir konnten die große Küche kaum nutzen, da es extrem wenig Geschirr gab.

The apartment was nice overall—bright, quiet, and equipped with an elevator. Nice kitchen and dining table.

There was only one blanket for two guests, and we found some dust under the bed along with a tube of lotion left by a previous guest. A washing machine would also have been a useful addition. I would also be cautious about consuming food from the frying pans provided.

El apartamento está muy bien y tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodo. En 30-40 minutos se llega caminando al centro.

Las instalaciones y mobiliario están al límite y necesitan mantenimiento y alguna renovación. Es accesible a PMR que vayan en silla de ruedas si van acompañadas para poder entrar y salir del ascensor ya que hay riesgo de caída por las escaleras al no haber espacio para maniobrar

Posizione comoda nel quartiere di Saint Gilles (a 5/10 minuti dalla piazza del quartiere e dalla stazione di Bruxelles Midi). Personalmente ho molto apprezzato la zona, l'ho trovata sì un po' sporca ma autentica (e non pericolosa come ho letto in giro). Ci sono vari bar locali molto carini. Comunque sia a piedi sia con i mezzi la zona centrale della Grand Place e la zona museale sono agevolmente raggiungibili. L'appartamento ha tutto l'essenziale per un comodo soggiorno di più giorni (dalla cucina al divano in spazi ampi). Il water distaccato dal bagno è tipico di queste zone.

Il ritiro delle chiavi è agevole ma le istruzioni dell'host sono pervenute solo pochi minuti prima dell'inizio dell'orario del check-in. Comprendo che si tratta di scelta prudenziale per evitare self check-in anticipati ma avrei gradito quantomeno una preventiva rassicurazione circa l'orario di check-in e l'invio delle istruzioni, giusto per essere sereni e organizzarsi in tal senso. Il letto, pur comodo, scricchiola (incomprensibilmente) molto.

Appartamento comodo in buona posizione

La casa era sporca: molti capelli per terra e macchie di olio in cucina. Il phon ha smesso di funzionare dopo pochi minuti. Tende strappate e macchiate. Gestori inesistenti, difficilmente contattabili. Peccato.

Overall, the apartment was great and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was fully equipped and well-maintained.

What could be improved: The only issue was the toilet layout. The toilet seat is in a separate small room where there is no option to wash after using it, forcing you to go to the other bathroom. Since there is no space for a traditional bidet, it would be a huge improvement if the host installed a handheld bidet sprayer (shattaf) next to the toilet. It’s an easy and practical solution for personal hygiene.
