Mansard Art Studio - Central Sofia

Great location for us because our main destination is the National Music School Liubomir Pipkov. It may not apply if yours is the city center. Internet connection is good. Lidl and restaurants are in walking distance. Price is competitive, but with this prize one cannot expect a luxus condition.

(1) The stove doesn't work at all, cooking is not possible. (2) It seems that water would get through the ceiling in case of rain. In the small room, there was even water on the floor. We just closed the sliding door and didn't use that room. (3) There were some noise during the night (not so bad, not continuously), and in an evening we could hear some neighbor talking out loud on her phone. (4) The wardrobe next to the main bed was not fixed to the wall. This is VERY DANGEROUS when children try to get a blanket out of it. PLEASE FIX THIS to avoid any accident.

Great location for the price of property

The location was very good, close to the city center and metro station. The wifi had strong signal and was stable. The studio had all expected amenities. Did not try the stove, but other things were working.

The studio was on the 4th floor, no elevator, run-down corridor, no signs of floor numbers. The kitchen utensils were not clean. There was not light in the toilet/shower, and the host did not respond to my message. The bed, pillows and the mattress were very uncomfortable. The linens were old and were not well washed. There was a small step in front of the bed that can be a trip hazard. The shelves were dirty, I had to clean them. Everything looked like acquired from the Salvation Army.

For safety reasons, it would be good if there was a fire extinguisher.

The building itself was very old and the apartment was on the attic level several floors up without an elevator - difficult with luggage and a bit smelly.

Not much. This place is disasterous.

Stayed for 10 days. The first 8 were sunny. Then it rained. The roof was leaking (I can't upload a video but I put a photo instead). When it was sunny it was too hot you had to keep the AC on to be able to sleep and feel it in the bed. Did I mention it was leaking from the roof? It's marketed as 2 beds but the other room is completely unusable. The bathroom is moldy. The leaky roof means mold everywhere. The bed is uncomfortable. Everything is very old and when I complained about the leak to the hosts they said they knew and can't fix it as long as it's raining (well you had a very long sunny streak). This place needs to be taken off the market until booking checks that it's habitable.
