Location is perfect

Dirry, shower not cleaned for months, dust and old carpet under the beds. Number on booking not reachable. They were not happy that we contacted Booking directly. Finally contact on whats app with explanation of the renting company that we should be happy because the price is low. (200 euros per night). Behaviour is not acceptable from renting company. We have requested partial refund and we are still waiting for answer.

Modern, spacious, clean and comfortable

The apartment did not show as it had appeared in the photos on the booking. There were no fans provided, 3 flights of stairs that were not included in the description. We paid for the night before as we were arriving early the next morning, and even though we paid we were not able to pick up the keys till 2pm. This was frustrating.

Right outside the cathedral and in the historical centre near plenty of restaurants. There was 3 beds, it was very spacious.

The location was really central and great for getting around Antwerpen. Beautiful architecture and handy for restaurants and bars. Close to underground car parking, but make sure that you collect the keys before you arrive as the office is located about 20mins walk away from the apartment, which is easy to get to by car but once you have parked, you will not want to get out and drive again. We parked in Groenplaats first and then collected keys and bags. The videos provided are helpful. We stayed for 1 night only.

The location is very noisy at night. This was made worse as one of the windows in the main are could not be closed properly. As there is no air conditioning, it gets warm but you can't keep a window open and it smells of food being prepared from the restaurants. The property is also very noisy from people returning to other apartments. The sound proofing is poor. We thought that someone had actually come into the apartment. The hot water did not work so no hot showers for 4 people, or hot water in the wash basin which was not great. The water did not drain away in the shower. One toilet roll. There were no information leaflets about transport/sightseeing/restaurant recommendations which would have all been nice additions. Generally the apartment felt a bit grubby and unloved, which is a shame as the building itself is beautiful.

Unique location.

The terrace with the view on the cathedral was not accessible, I hope they will make it accessible for future guests as it is a great perk of this property.
