The apartment was as described. It was located in a quiet area with free parking and easy access by car or bicycle to downtown Ottawa just a few minutes away.

It was an exceptionally hot day when we arrived and the apartment was over 30 degrees inside. I called the number provided for guidance but no one returned the call or came to help. Thankfully by 8 pm, the bedroom air conditioner had cooled the rest of the unit enough. We had to bring coffee and shampoo. I understand about the coffee but not the shampoo. Usually it is provided. Also a box of Kleenex, salt and pepper should have been included.

Great sized apartment, quiet location, and a few minutes walk to the park and lake. It takes roughly 45 minutes to walk from here across Alexander Bridge to the Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill. The apartment has almost everything you will need, it has all the expected gadgets, plus good quality, clean bedding, plenty of towels and toilet paper (well, we didn't have toilet paper when we arrived but some was brought to us later that evening). However, it does not have any basics, such as shampoo, body wash, tea bags, coffee pods, milk, washing up liquid or washing powder. All things we have received in other apartments, some of which have been much cheaper than staying here. Great to have private off-road parking (free). Supermarket nearby. Great location for walking into Ottawa.

One of the facilities listed is view. The only view is of the road and the high-rise building opposite. Which is not an especially great view when you are sitting on the toilet! Anyone heard of frosted glass?? Terrible lighting, half the light bulbs are blown and the lounge light doesn't work at all. Of the four apartments, one was empty and for sale, and two were empty. We checked that the apartment we were staying in was not booked for the following day, then asked if we could check out but leave our car there (in one of the 4 empty parking spaces) until 1pm. Their reply "until 1pm is fine, but after that it will be towed". (just that, no hello, nothing). Some may think this reply was unnecessarily aggressive and rude, especially as we had been polite and understanding over the complete lack of toilet roll on arrival. (Even though my wife was very annoyed by this, as after a three hour drive, we had to get back into the car and find a McDonald's just so she could wee. Not a happy woman!). I'm not sure their customer service is all that friendly. The list of 12 house rules is a bit much.
